An elite organization dedicated toward the conservation and retention of a great and valuable resource, the Magnificent and Omnipotent Varying Hare or Snowshoe Hare.
The Loyal Order of The Big Woods Hare Hunters of The Allegheny was officially or unofficially founded around 2002.
Headquartered in the Wilds of Western Pennsylvania, atop the beautiful and majestic Allegheny Plateau, a small but ever expanding group of devoted beaglers, new and veteran hare hunters and out-door enthusiasts, who love to get out into the elements and wilds, chase and observe the incredible snowshoe hare. Not all own hounds, however, all love to listen to the beautiful beagle music, which rings gloriously across the scenic Allegheny Plateau on a long hare chase.
This highly enthusiastic and devoted community of hare-watchers call themselves “The Loyal Order of The Big Woods Hare Hunters of The Allegheny.”
The Big Woods Hare Hunter Email Network and now this blog keep all informed of successes and failures.
Just a quick or fleeting glimpse of a pure white hare in winter in Pennsylvania is considered a success story to be relayed across the internet.

I think it's Ray in Grandma Wolford's driveway in Duke Center. I could be wrong but that is definitely Grandma's front yard.
